To mark the 850th anniversary of the arrival of the Normans, this year’s Ferns Conference will hold an ‘Inquiry’ into the extent to which Diarmuid MacMurrough, King of Leinster, was responsible. The conference will take place in St. Edan’s Cathedral, Ferns on October 12th.
