Centrally located in County Wexford, all roads lead to Ferns Village

Ferns Village is located in the ‘Sunny South East’ of Ireland. It is just over an hour from Dublin to Ferns. Regular bus services ensure easy access to a range of destinations. The village is located on the junction of the Enniscorthy-Gorey road (R772) and Ferns-Bunclody road (R745).
Just a 10-minutes drive from Gorey town and Enniscorthy town and within easy reach of beaches such as Courtown.

Ferns is located just 12km from Enniscorthy, 15km from Bunclody, 15km from Carnew and 18km from Gorey.

Getting Around Ferns Village

The village is easily accessible by foot. Foot paths line both sides of the the village streets.

Free public parking is available throughout the village. Customer parking is available at the various retail outlets.

 

 

Directions

From Gorey: Follow the R772 south from Gorey through Clogh, then Camolin village continuing for 5km until you reach Ferns village. If travelling on the M11 southbound, take exit 24 marked Camolin and Ferns.

From Wexford: Take the N11 northbound. After Oilgate you can follow the M11 northbound, taking exit 24 marked Camolin and Ferns OR you can continue through Enniscorthy town and take the R745 to Ferns village.

From Enniscorthy: Follow the R745 north from Enniscorthy until you arrive in Ferns.

From Bunlcody: Follow the N80 southbound towards Enniscorthy. Turn left at the roundabout in Scarawalsh and follow the R745 into Ferns.

Alternative Route: On the N80, when you arrive at Ballycarney, turn left at the Ballycarney Inn and continue for 6km to Ferns village.

From Carnew: On Carnew main street turn onto Mill Lane (between Osborne’s Centra and Sinnotts) After 10km there is a Y-shaped junction follow the road to the right. At the next junction (approx. 2km), turn right and continue for approximately 1km into Ferns village.

From Dublin: Take the M11 southbound. At Exit 24, follow the signs for Camolin and Ferns. Continue through Camolin for another 5km until you arrive in Ferns village. Approximate time from Dublin: 90 minutes
