From next Monday to Wednesday, Station Road from Dunbar’s corner to Don Redmond’s corner will be closed to all vehicles – pedestrian access only. This is to facilitate footpath installation, water main installation and road reconstruction works to take place as part of the R772 Ferns Village Pavement Scheme Ph2.
Alternative routes will be signposted. No through road but local access will be facilitated via diversions.
Road Closure: L-1023 Station Road from its junction with the R772 (Ferns to Camolin Road), to its junction with the L-1022.
Alternative Routes:
Via L-1022 Ferns Lower to Clone, L6067 Clone, L6068 Clone to Killabeg, L2021 Killabeg to Scarawalsh and the R772 (Ferns Road).
Via L-6071 Dorans Bridge to Effernogue, L6067 Clone, L6068 Clone to Killabeg, L2021 Killabeg to Scarawalsh and the R772 (Ferns Road).
