Four volunteers representing Ferns Community Development Association CLG, Ferns Tidy Towns, Ferns Community Centre and Ferns GAA completed an enlightening, informative and interactive 7-week Smart Villages training course in 2021/2022. The project is supported by Wexford Local Development (WLD).
The First Project is to carry out a community survey. This will give feedback from the community on what matters to them and help identify opportunities and challenges for the future of the village and greatly assist the Ferns Smart Villages Group and the community in drawing up a Smart Village Strategic Plan (SVSP).
