Pembrokeshire County Council and Wexford County Council are looking for 4 to 6no. people, from their local communities, to participate in an 8-day trans-national walking pilgrimage, alongside four professional Artists, as part of the Ancient Connections: Creative Camino. This communal journey is a new cross-border arts, heritage and tourism experiential event, exploring the past and present connections between the two regions.

The successful applicants will join the Artists and be led by professional pilgrim-guides on a week-long journey from Ireland to Wales. The participants will gather stories, inspiration and experiences, while they explore a potential walking tourism and pilgrim route, linking St. Aidan’s Trail in Wexford to St. David’s Way in Pembrokeshire.

The trip will start in Ferns, Ireland on the 19th May and finish in St Davids, Wales on the 26th May 2020, taking in the beaches, coastal paths and communities along the way.
