Wexford Day at Ferns Castle

This year, Wexford Day will take place on June 23rd - a wonderful day of culture and heritage. Last year (2012) it was held in glorious sunshine. The day was a great success and deserving credit must go to the OPW staff who organised the event.

There was lots to see and do and the following photographs are just a sample of what was on offer:

Ferns Comhaltas provided great entertainment through music and Irish Dancing. They brought a great air of celebration to the day. irish_dancing_at_ferns.jpg

......and last but not least, members of the tapestry group - Ann, May and Dolly, were demonstrating their craft in the sunshine.tapestry_at_ferns_castle.jpg
